antojo ceviche


It was served in
a cocktail glass -
how cool is that?!
I knew this spicy
shrimp ceviche
would become a favorite
before I even tasted it.

The Lunch Ladies,
myself included,
dined at Antojo Latino
on this blessedly warm,
blue-sky day.

For my lunch,
I had the ceviche
and these croquettes,
fashioned from
shredded beef
shrouded in cassava
and baked.
It was almost like a
mini beef pasty!
Excellent!

Now,
if you'll excuse me,
I have lab papers
to grade
and I'm going to do so
outside,
soaking up sun
on this 70+ day
in March.

This is the kind of
lion's entrance
I like!
