sittin' in my seat

Years ago, this was my vantage point at the stadium.
Up the stairwell to the right of the concession stand, up the steps to the last row of painted-green wooden bleachers, to the first seat on the end of that row.
The seat bears the number "24" these days.
At one time, this was the third row behind the orange seats. Now, it is the second row, as that row between was removed to allow easier passage for the patrons.
When Mister Willie shouted "Sit down in your seat!" in my direction, this is where I would be.
On this peaceful Sunday afternoon, I was sitting solo and yelling encouragement to my boys of summer.
I found it was good to have reclaimed my seat.
I've missed sitting here.
I definitely need to sit here more often.
Yes, indeed.
